Mad Dog Friedman is an internationally recognized harmonica player and musical innovator, known for his unique fusion of delta blues, bluegrass, honky-tonk, hokum and acoustic jam music. His band, Mad Dog Blues, has shaped a distinctive blues style indigenous to Colorado in the 21st century. His work with Mad Dog Blues has earned accolades such as winning the Mile High Blues Society Blues Challenge, five albums on the global Acoustic Blues Chart Top Ten within the last 3 years (Reports Music Reports) and with the #1 roots-based album in Colorado (Feb. 2025, Reports Music Reports).
