Pete Wernick, “Dr. Banjo”, is renowned worldwide for his contributions to bluegrass music: the founder of Bluegrass Hall of Famers Hot Rize and other bands. Starting in 1971, he has recorded dozens of original instrumentals and songs, including two bluegrass chart-topping hits, and is known. He’s lived in Boulder County since 1976.
