Fierce and nuanced, Nalani is a Force of Nature! She carries a room with her versatile and powerfully soulful voice, drives the music with her thumpin’, technical bass, and captures you with an intimate connection to the audience. Schooled in jazz and mentored by some the greatest Bass players of all time, including Victor Wooten (Béla Fleck and the Flektones) and Bakithi Kumalo (Paul Simon), Nalani brings a unique combination of Skilled Mastery and and utter PLAYFULNESS! The Nalani Effect band is made of legend, legacy and passion, featuring Regi “The Teacha” Wooten on Guitar/Vocals and Adam Wooten on Drums/Vocals. Regi, the world-renowned Legend, famous for teaching 5-Time Grammy winning bassist, Victor Wooten, has performed with many legendary artists including Bebe and Cece Winans and Ginger Baker. Recently touring globally with The Wooten Brothers, Regi is known for his unparalleled, innovative guitar techniques and inspired mastery of moving an audience. Adam, the Legacy, born into this legendary Wooten family, has carried the tradition of musical mastery since age 3, performing professionally for most of his life with many great artists, including the Late Great Lari White, Muriel Anderson, and Tommy Emmanuel. In addition to his years of musical experience, Adam’s skills as a Division1 Gymnast adds an element of athleticism, strength and drive to his musical performance.
